The Mental Health Fair was an inspiring event that brought our school community together to learn about caring for our minds and hearts. Students explored different activities, met caring professionals, and felt supported by their friends. It reminded us all that it’s okay to talk about our feelings and that we’re never alone on our journey! Huge shoutout to the Mental Health Ambassadors for their hard work, Briana Smith for the amazing passion behind the event, and Mrs. Theobold for her dedication to the cause and for sponsoring the group and event!
Mr. Bush's Cambridge IGCSE American History class was challenged to create a political cartoon of their own utilizing some of the 5 elements used when analyzing political cartoons. These included symbolism, labels and/or captions, analogy, irony, and exaggeration. Students could choose their topic based on historical topics/events they'd learned about thus far in the class such as The Declaration of Independence, The Boston Tea Party, French and Indian War, etc. The student products were very creative! Awesome job, students and Mr. Bush!
