Non Discrimination and Title IX Statement
Putnam County School District is committed to providing an educational and work environment free from discrimination and harassment.
The School Board does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, religion, or marital status in its educational programs, services, activities, or employment practices, as prohibited by applicable federal and state law.
The District also prohibits discrimination and harassment as required by applicable federal and state laws, including Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, the Florida Civil Rights Act of 1992, and the Florida Educational Equity Act.
The District is committed to addressing allegations of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation promptly and equitably and to providing equal access to educational programs, services, activities, and employment opportunities.
Compliance Officers
The School Board has designated the following individuals to serve as the District's Compliance Officers. The Compliance Officers coordinate the District's efforts to comply with applicable federal and state civil rights laws and regulations and are available to receive inquiries or complaints regarding discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or denial of equal access.

Title IX
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance. Questions or concerns regarding Title IX may be directed to the District's designated Compliance Officers. Equal Access
Putnam County School District provides equal access to its facilities to the Boy Scouts of America and other designated patriotic youth groups, as required by applicable federal law.

The District provides notice of applicable nondiscrimination requirements to students, parents and guardians, employees, applicants, and members of the public.
