As the school year comes to a close, we proudly prepare to honor the Q.I. Roberts Jr./Sr. High School Class of 2025 at their graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 31st. The ceremony will take place at Bennett Cooper Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Palatka beginning at 8:00 PM, with gates opening for seating at 7:00 PM. For those unable to attend in person, a livestream will be available, and a recording of the ceremony will be posted afterward to allow all families and friends to join in the celebration from anywhere.
This year’s seniors have been celebrated throughout the spring in a number of meaningful ways, including our annual Senior Signing Day, where we recognized students’ commitments to colleges, universities, and career pathways. A recording of the Signing Day celebration can be viewed here.
The Class of 2025 was also honored at our annual Senior Awards Night, where students received school-based awards, local scholarships, and recognitions for academic and community achievements.
Our seniors are headed to a wide range of destinations, both in Florida and beyond. Among the places they will go:
15 students will attend Santa Fe College
11 are headed to the University of Florida
10 to the University of North Florida
9 to St. Johns River State College
9 to workforce training programs
6 to Florida State University
Others will pursue opportunities out of state or enter directly into the workforce.
Of the Class of 2025, 40 students have already earned the AICE Diploma, making them eligible for the Florida Academic Scholars Award, which covers 100% of tuition and fees at Florida public institutions through the Bright Futures program. Many additional students are expected to earn the award pending the release of final Cambridge exam scores in August. In total, this graduating class has earned nearly $700,000 in scholarships.
We invite our Q.I. families, alumni, and community members to join us in celebrating these incredible students. Follow us on social media to view highlights, leave congratulatory messages, and share in the joy as the Class of 2025 graduates transitioning from students to alumni of Q.I. Roberts Jr./Sr. High School
Congratulations, Class of 2025—your future is bright, and the best is yet to come!.
