The theme this year is:
“Read, White, and Blue – Celebrating 250 Chapters of America!”
We are planning an incredible week centered on the love of reading by scheduling school events anchored in literacy promotion, storytelling, and the joy that reading brings. From fun theme days to guest readers on campus, our goal is to inspire students to lean into a shared love of reading and learning—together.
Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida! is designed to raise awareness about the importance of reading and to inspire students and families to make reading part of their daily routines.
Throughout the week, our schools will be hosting engaging literacy celebrations that highlight just how meaningful reading can be—both in the classroom and at home.
