Abigail Kennedy is our terrific kid this month. She stays positive even when things are difficult for her. She always comes in with a hug and a smile. She constantly works hard and when the going gets tough, she works even harder and isn't easily discouraged. I feel like she is a good example for the other students and me as well!!!

Alaina is a ray of sunshine in our classroom. Her positive thinking mindset keeps her focused and continuously progressing toward her learning goals. Fallon Coyer is a wonderful example of a Melrose Terrific Kid because she is kind to everyone and she works incredibly hard to learn everything she is being taught. Our terrific kid for October is Charlie Swafford. The character trait for this month is all about having a positive attitude, and boy does Charlie have that! Charlie always comes to school with a smile on his face, ready to learn. He gets along with his classmates, his teachers, and all those around him. Charlie looks at each new lesson as an opportunity to learn and does not get frustrated or upset if he has to try a little bit harder. He is kind, polite, easy going, as well as being a great, hard working student. We love you, Charlie, and are so happy you are in our class. You truly are terrific!
