Melrose Elementary School

We are so excited to announce that we have met our attendance goal for the 60th day this year. For everyday that we have 93% of our students in attendance, the students earn a letter to spell the word attendance. When we spell attendance, we have a schoolwide recognition. Today, we did a schoolwide paper airplane contest. Every student was able to make a paper airplane during specials and we did a preliminary contest with each grade level. The top 5 students whose planes went the furthest got to compete in the schoolwide competition. Congratulations to our top 10 students! We had a great time cheering on these students while celebrating coming to school!!
