PCSD's Pre-K Registration is now open for the 2025-2026 school year! If your child will be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2025, they are eligible to enroll in our high-quality Pre-K program. Our Pre-K classes are available at: 📍 Central Area: Mellon Learning Center 📍 West End: Robert H. Jenkins Elementary, Ochwilla Elementary, Melrose Elementary 📍 South End: Middleton-Burney Elementary To get started, complete the Pre-K Application and obtain a Certificate of Eligibility from the state of Florida. PCSD Mental Wellness Department will offer Family Therapy on Tuesdays, starting May 27, 2025. The group will meet for a five-week series. To sign up to participate or get additional information please call 386-312-2286.

Pre-K Round Up begins tomorrow, March 25, 2025. Applications will be available in the front office at Jenkins Elementary School. Please bring the following documents: Certificate of eligibility, birth certificate, proof of residence, driver license or valid ID.

Books, pizza, and Kona Ice will be available at our next Family Fun Night on January 30, 2025 at 6:00 PM. Parents will learn strategies, tips, and tools to support their children's reading development. To attend this event, you must RSVP. We are excited to partner with NEFEC and the Lastinger Center for Learning at University of Florida to provide a Family Fun Night. Please put Thursday, January 30 on your calendar. The attached flyer will have the QR code or web address to pre-register. YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER. We hope to see all our students and parents that evening. The event will take place in the cafeteria.

Today, December 20, 2024 is an early release day. Dismissal of students is at 12:35. Please make sure you adjust your schedules 2 hours early. Today is also the last day of school before the winter break. Students return on January 7, 2025. We hope everyone has an amazing winter break. See you next year!
