It was a great week at Jenkins Elementary. We want to shout out Ms. Odell's 3rd math grade class, Mr. Gunter's 4th grade math class, Mrs. Hall's 5th science class, and Ms. Crumpton's STEM class. The benefits of hand's on learning builds deeper understanding and makes learning meaningful and more engaging.

We had an amazing first week of school! We would like to give a great big shout-out to our students, their families, and our incredible staff for truly working together to make each day better than the last.
As we move forward, we are excited to continue helping our students grow academically, socially, and emotionally while celebrating the milestones and successes we achieve along the way. Every day is an opportunity to learn, grow, and take another step toward becoming our very best!
Thursday and Friday were especially fun as we celebrated the “B” we earned! What a great accomplishment for our Rams! We are proud of the hard work that went into reaching this milestone, and we are even more excited about where we are headed next.

We will be showing our video regarding Lockdown Safety in the event of an active assailant. It is very important that each students is aware of procedures. All students will be shown this video with their homeroom teacher and the procedure will be talked about. If you would like your child to NOT see the video, please fill out this form and send back in by Friday, Aug. 14.
We are one day away from our Meet and Greet 2026. We can't wait to see our families.
We will have a special treat with "Sweet Tooth Wagon" Vendor truck on campus. Feel free to bring your child's school supplies and don't forget to get some amazing photos to kick off your child's school year. See you all soon.
Remember:
For safety purposes only students and employees can be on the campus while we are in the middle of drop off or dismissal. If you need to come into the office, you will be permitted after parent drop-off is complete. Our office is open to the public from 8:00 AM - 1:30 PM on school days.
This year, we are offering two convenient opportunities for families to drop off their child's back-to-school supplies before the first day of school. For safety reasons, parents are not allowed on campus during student-drop off and pick-up so this drop-off may be easier for your child.
Thursday, August 6: Bring your child's school supplies during Meet & Greet and place them directly in the classroom when you visit.
Friday, August 7, from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM: If you are unable to attend Meet & Greet, you may drop off your child's supplies in the parent drop-off loop. Staff members will be available to ensure all supplies are delivered to the correct classroom.
Community School Supply Drive
We also invite our community to help our students start the school year strong! On Friday, August 7, from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, community members may donate new school supplies in the parent drop-off loop. Every donation helps ensure our Rams have the tools they need for a successful school year.
