The PCSD Instructional Technology (IT) team hosted a training for the Career & Technical Education (CTE) Department and their Health Science instructors. Also in attendance for this collaborative training were representatives from NEFEC and PCSD’s Department of Teaching & Learning.
Beginning next quarter, Crescent City, Interlachen, and Palatka Jr/Sr High Schools will receive zSpace equipment which offers a virtual, in-classroom experience. Students will be able to dive deeper into health science with this tool; from dissecting a human heart to seeing how muscles fibers move in the chest when one moves their arm, zSpace’s technology literally puts opportunities to engage and learn at the students’ fingertips.
The health science team received vital training on this awesome technology as well as on Newline Interactive Displays that are sure to be an exciting addition to PCSD’s popular Health Science programs!
