School Safety
Mission:
The mission of the department is to assist the Superintendent and School Board in creating safe and secure schools that are conducive to high academic performance through deterrence, prevention, mitigation, and response efforts. The department also promotes effective learning communities by showing support, guidance, and empathy to all student and family members in applying rules and policies in a fair and consistent method.
Vision:
The department envisions school communities that are safe and secure, providing a positive and protected environment conducive to learning.
