Public Notice Policies

The District School Board of Putnam County will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 3:30pm in the School Board Meeting Room, 200 Reid Street, Palatka, Florida 32177 for the purpose of adopting, deleting and amending school board bylaws and policies listed below.  At the regular meeting of the Board on December 16, 2025, the Board authorized advertising these policies for consideration of adoption and amendment.

Authority for amending, deleting and adopting policies is found in Article IX, Section 4(b), Constitution of the State of Florida and in Florida Statutes 1001.41, 1001.42.

School Board Meeting

The Putnam County School Board will meet on December 16, 2025 at 3:30 p.m. The meeting will take place in the the board meeting room at the Putnam County School District Administrative office, 200 Reid Street, Palatka, FL 32177.

Insurance Committee Meeting

The Putnam County School Board Insurance Committee will meet on November 20, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. The meeting will take place in the ESE Meeting Room, CL Overturf District Administrative Center, 1100 S 18th Street, Palatka, FL.

School Facilities Naming Committee

The Putnam County School District School Facilities Naming Committee will hold the first meeting on December 3rd, 2025 at 1:00 PM to consider renaming the batting cages at the Jim McCool Field located at the Azalea Bowl to the "Ben Bates Batting Cages". The meeting will take place in the Putnam County School Board Meeting Room located at 200 Reid Street, Palatka, FL. (posted November 13, 2025).

Bond Oversight Committee Meeting
