No Cell from Bell to Bell – Let’s Keep Learning First
At PCSD, we want every minute of the school day to be focused on learning and connection.
In line with Florida law, the Student Code of Conduct: Electronic Devices, and Board Policy 5.321, PCSD schools will follow these expectations starting this year:
Grades K–8: No Cell from Bell to Bell
Grades 9–12: No Cell Use During Instruction
Devices must be off and out of sight during instructional time (class periods).
Devices may be used before/after school, during lunch, and between classes—only in areas approved by the principal.
Headphones, AirPods, and earbuds may not be worn during the school day unless approved by the principal or bus driver. For safety, only one earbud may be used if permitted.
Other important reminders (per the Student Code of Conduct):
Recording audio, video, or images on campus is not allowed.
Personal devices may not connect to the district network.
Devices should never be used to create disruption or confusion.
For health needs, students must have a Care Plan approved by the PCSD Health Services Coordinator or RN designee.
In case of urgent messages during the day, parents should call the school office.
