Explore Dual Enrollment

Dual enrollment provides high school students with opportunities to take college-level courses and earn college credit, all paid for by the Putnam County School District. Through partnerships with two local colleges, students who meet program requirements can participate in high school campus, college campus and online coursework, depending upon their grade level and the program.

Traditional Dual Enrollment

Dual enrollment is available at the following schools:

  • Crescent City Jr.-Sr. High School

  • Interlachen Jr.-Sr. High School

  • Palatka Jr.-Sr. High School

  • Putnam Virtual School

  • Q.I. Roberts Jr.-Sr. High School

Traditional dual enrollment is open to eligible 11th and 12th grade students who want to take one or more college courses while still enrolled at their high school. Students must have at least a 3.0 unweighted high school GPA, and earn qualifying college placement test scores in at least two of the three areas — Reading, Writing, and Math — before applying.
