Good evening, Putnam County families, students, and staff!
As we prepare to begin another incredible school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for your partnership, your support, and the trust you place in our schools every day. The excitement is building across our campuses; classrooms are ready, teachers are energized, and we’re all looking forward to welcoming our students back.
To help set the tone for a bright and inspiring first day, here’s a short back-to-school poem. It’s a reminder of all the care, preparation, and joy that goes into starting fresh each fall. So, as you get those backpacks zipped and alarms set for tomorrow morning… this one’s for you.
’Twas the night before school starts, and all through the halls,
The classrooms were ready, fresh paint on the walls.Teachers were prepping their lessons with care,
In hopes that their students soon would be there.
Backpacks were hung by the door with pride,
With pencils and notebooks all tucked safe inside.
The night felt electric, a buzz in the air,
Tomorrow brings learning, new memories to share. We’re shaping the future each student, each day,
Inspiring minds, the PCSD way!
We can't wait to greet you and cheer your return,
With lessons to teach and new things to learn.
Here’s to a new school year bright, bold, and true,
We’re shaping the future, & we’re so proud of you!
Wishing all of our staff, students, and families an amazing 2025–26 school year! Get a good night’s rest — we can't wait to see you in the morning!
