Earn up to 60 Master In-Service Points per year for certification renewal using our training library at putnamschools.howtomaster.com

The IC3 ( Internet and Computing Core Certification) Training Library contains classes that meet NCLB technology skills standards. It is a 60 hour course. It contains three sections, and will earn 60 MIPs when completed with a passing score.This program is being used as a tool to measure digital literacy in other districts and states and to assess technology standards addressed in No Child Left Behind  (Title II, Part D) . With an IC3 certification teachers will be well prepared when our state and district determines how to include technology standards when identifying highly qualified teachers

After you have finished the course, please call Marsha in Media Services at 329-0541. Request the report be previewed for you. There is no need to print the report since it is so large. A score of at least 80% correct is required. There is no need to print the report but you do need to return the In-Service Report Cover Form to Marsha Cruce in Media Services. (Print the In-Service Report Cover Form). No follow up support activity is required for certification renewal points when taking these classes. A maximum of 60 MIPs may be earned through How To Master Classes in a one year period.
