GED Testing Schedule for 2010 - 2011

Testing begins promptly at 8:15 AM and lasts until approximately 1:00 PM on each of the two days it takes to complete the entire test.

  • To register for the GED exam, please bring:  Social Security Card and Florida Driver’s License or FL picture ID with a Putnam County address. 
  • If you are under the age of 18, you must be enrolled in an adult education program and be recommended to take the GED test. 
  • The cost of the full battery is $70.00 and should be paid by cash or money order payable to Putnam County School District. 
  • No children allowed at registration or exam.
  • No cell phones allowed. 

Pre-Registration begins promptly at 8:00 AM during the registration dates listed.  We will hand out numbers on a first come, first served basis in order to process each individual’s paperwork in an orderly fashion.  (Please line up outside the door in order of arrival.)  We will call you into the office by number, have you sign in and check all paperwork to confirm correct.  Those who have the proper documentation will be taken into the testing room at 9:00 AM to complete the registration process.
