Summer Food Service Program
The District School Board of Putnam County, 200 South 7th Street, Palatka, Florida will be sponsoring the Summer Food Service Program for Children again this year at selected sites throughout the county.
The program is similar to the National School Lunch Program. It provides nutritionally balanced meals to all children regardless of race, color, sex, handicap, age or national origin, during the summer vacation. All children eighteen (18) years of age or younger are eligible for a lunch at no charge. The programs are only approved for geographical areas of need or where enrollment of one-half or more of the children qualify for free or reduced price meals during the school year. ALL of Putnam County qualifies.
The Summer Food Service Program for Children will be available at the following sites from June 11, 2008 through July 30, 2008 on a Monday through Friday basis.
